Visit a working Cambridge Dairy Farm and listen to the story behind producing New Zealand’s liquid gold.
1 hour Tour timed to suit milking, ideally 2.30pm. Introduction to farming practices, 600 Fresian and Jersey Cows. Closed during the winter drying off season. The Farmer is also a trained Veterinarian and can speak fluent Spanish.
Tours operate on request, Monday to Sunday, and are available mid July – early April.

You will need to travel to the farm gate located 10 minutes drive from Cambridge
Health & Safety: Closed toe footwear is essential, and you will be asked to disinfect your footwear. This is a rural working farm with mud, uneven surfaces and rural smells. Please be aware of these hazards. A good level of English is required to understand the health and safety instructions for this tour.
