The Tivoli Cinema is an independent Cinema established in the quiet town of Cambridge in 2014 by Shane Jarrett and Karen Hawes. Featuring a mix of films from around the world, Shane and Karen have not only brought their passion for good film to Waipa but also the experience that encapsulates boutique cinema.
Featuring wines from Giesen, Clearview, Kahurangi and Squawking Magpie, a sumptuous espresso blend from Laroma Coffee, and an award winning range of beers. Throw into the mix New Zealand’s delicious Deep South Ice cream, Mezze and Cheese anti-pasto platters (GF options available) and an assortment of delights from local bakers.
The Tivoli is available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays for private bookings (daytime and evenings). On these days we can offer you a reduced rate if you book out one, two or all of our auditoriums. We have a 52 seat auditorium, 47 seat auditorium and a 41 seat auditorium, and depending on the film choice, we can show the same movie in all auditoriums to create a larger seat option.
