2025 at Lake Karapiro is a big one! Not only is it’s the 100 Years of the Masport Cup, it’s also Round 3 of the Lucas Oil Hydro Thunder Series and the NZ Powerboat Nationals. We’ll see you there on the 8-9 February 2025.

This season we have a field of 10 plus Grand Prix Hydroplanes from all over New Zealand as well as all the other top classes.
Featuring an action packed weekend with, Lucas Oil Hydro Thunder NZ Series, 100th Masport Cup, Trade Zone NZ Powerboat Nationals , Petrol Head and Chemical Guys Classic Car Show. 100 plus powerboats from Grand Prix Hydroplanes, Formula One Tunnels , Racing runabouts and more, 100 plus classic cars on display on the Saturday. 20 plus races a day , (Friday test day only). Plenty of fast action on the water and static displays on land. Food and refreshments available onsite. Don’t miss this action packed weekend , who will win the 100th Masport Cup trophy started by Mason and Porter (Masport) in 1925.
