Leamington Fishing Competition 2025, Leamington Rugby Ground Clubrooms, Carlyle St, Leamington. Starts Friday 12.01am (midnight) till Sunday 4pm weigh-in (you must be in line by 4pm). You can fish anywhere by boat, kayak, jetski, or from the beach. Categories for adults/children, heaviest – snapper, kingfish, kahawai, gurnard, a mystery weight snapper and best family photo. Thanks to generous sponsors there’s $1000’s of amazing prizes to be won. All fish handed in are auctioned off with the proceeds going to Kids in Need Waikato.
