Our biggest party of the year returns for 2025, celebrating the birthdays of Bilbo and Frodo here at Hobbiton Movie Set, home of the Hobbits.
Your guide will escort you on a guided walking tour around the 12-acre set, sharing stories of the movie magic that was made here. Journey past the colourful doors of the Hobbit Holes™ that scatter the hillsides, including the iconic Bag End, home of Bilbo and Frodo Baggins, before arriving at Bagshot Row for a glimpse into the interiors of a humble Hobbit’s home. Continue on route towards The Millhouse and world-famous Green Dragon™ Inn.
As the tour comes to an end, you’ll arrive into The Green Dragon™ Marketplace – a bustling, vibrant festival-like atmosphere with traditional Hobbit fare bursting from the market stalls. Sample some treats from the stalls and make yourself at home in the cosy interiors of The Green Dragon Inn.
Our famous Hobbit™ Southfarthing™ beverages will be flowing fresh from the kegs, alongside a range of wines, with roving performers, interactive games and live music to keep you entertained.
For guests with a Hobbit-sized appetite, the Party Marquee will boast a buffet table overflowing with options for a more substantial supper, and, as is tradition in the Shire™, second helpings are encouraged!
A lively prize giving celebrating our best dressed guests, games winners and raffle winner will be held in the Marketplace, followed by a short evening walk through the village, with lights from the Hobbit Holes glowing against the darkness. Board your awaiting coach for a journey back through the farmland completing your adventure there and back again.
