Mark your calendars for 9 November 2024 as the Illuminate Light & Sound Show returns to Mighty River Domain in Cambridge and joins The Great Kiwi Summer Festival line up.
Held for the first time in 2023, the light and sound show resonated strongly with the community and will be one of the highlights of the 2024 festival programme. With the support of local business Shaw’s, who have stepped up as a naming partner and Waipa Networks who continue their support, the event will once again provide a fun night for all the family at one of the regions most iconic venues, Lake Karapiro.
It’s not just about entertainment.“Illuminate” promises to light up the skies at the Mighty River Domain with an awe-inspiring sound and light show. The event is all about championing a more sustainable public display light and sound show for Waipā families and communities to enjoy and supporting local charities.
The light show is approx 15min long and will commence around 30mins after sunset. We estimate this to be approx 8.30pm but is subject to change. We encourage you to arrive early to enjoy the rest of the Festival so you do not miss it!
