St Peter's School, on the outskirts of Cambridge, has such excellent sports facilities, it has been used by international sports teams as a training base, including during the 2011 Rugby World Cup.
It's no wonder Waipa District calls itself the "Home of Champions."

A 2010 survey revealed that four out of ten locals exercise for more than 30 minutes a day and four more do so two to four times a week. The town is home to dozens of sports clubs, is a regional hub for many sports and regularly hosts national tournaments.
