Cambridge has two free community newspapers, as well as local and regional radio stations that provide news and information about the area.
The Cambridge Edition is published weekly by Fairfax, the group that also publishes the region's paid morning daily newspaper, The Waikato Times. Your Cambridge News is independently-owned and publishes fortnightly.
Switch FM is a low-power FM community radio station based in Cambridge, broadcasting on 87.8FM and streamed online.
New Zealand's two largest commercial radio groups, The Radio Network and Mediaworks, both operate a number of Waikato regional stations from Hamilton. A full list of radio stations available to Cambridge listeners is here.
