Cambridge has a good representation of service clubs, including Rotary, Lions and Freemasons.

marae-service-clubs cambridge-isiteThe Rotary Club of Cambridge was chartered to Rotary International in 1946 and its 70 or so members meet weekly at the Don Rowlands Centre, Karapiro.

It sponsors a Probus Club for retired professional and business members who meet regularly for events.

Cambridge Lions,with a local membership of 40 to 50, helps local organisations and raises funds through a catering caravan available for events, and the Lions Shed, in Vogel St, which is open on Thursdays and Saturday mornings, to sell second-hand goods.

The Lions Club also run a successful youth programme in conjunction with Cambridge High School and organise the monthly Trash and Treasure fair in the town centre.

Freemasons hold monthly Lodge Meetings for Alpha Lodge No. 81 at their premises on the corner of Queen St and Bryce St.

The Cambridge Cosmopolitan Club in Burns St, Leamington has hosted the Returned Services Association membership since 2003.
